Is ignorance really lucky? Is it because you do not want to know how many calories and saturated fat contained in a double-fudge brownie? Do you want to continue the cleaning, if the pants no longer fit to blame?

What conservative has a problem with that? This one doesn’t.
It’s because they think you can tell whether what you eat is going to kill you merely by staring really hard at it before you put it into your mouth.
you cant name one and Michelle 0bma has no right to tell me or my family what we can eat. its my choice if i eat high fiber, hi protein or high sugar salt and fat.
I can’t imagine what the complaint would be. The information is already on the side of packaging. The new “front of packaging” labels would make it way easier to determine what I want to buy.
The Government is not providing anything,,, they are forcing.

I know many conservatives and none complain about food labels.
I do know people who complain about a big butt politicians wife who tries to tell others how to eat.
I want to know how much compressed air is in a bag of potato chips.
They do not like rules and regulations, the cost of expanding the duties of the FDA –but mostly, they do not like anything the Democrats want to make better for the public although the “general welfare” of the people is mentioned in the “Constitution” and is explained that when people are left to their own devices, they will not survive (in so many words). I hope you find your answer, but if you do not want junk food to be taxed, then you might think of it that way and question that too.
I don’t like that idea except that food stamps would have to pay more if we want to give people nutritional food. I sort of think that the cost of food stamps is not enough to feed nourishing food. We have too many fat people–especially kids in our country. That is an example of what people will do to themselves if left to their own Devices. If you ask me … which you did. Is that what’s happening? Funny thing…. I am a conservative and I socialize mainly with other conservatives. I’ve never heard a peep about food labels.
The government, once again, doing something – wasting money – it shouldn’t.
And I can (& do) find out more nutritional info on what I weat on my own. And after all, what do you really ned to know about the nutrition of a Big Mac & large fries?

Food labels, required by the national government is exactly what you people claim is socialist tyranny. Remember? You’re supposed to claim that such tyranny is all just a bureaucratic plot to hurt small businessmen and steal the consumer’s right to be oblivious to the ingredients of their taco.
