Question by Jose E: What is the highest degree you can receive in nutrition?
How long does it take to receive it? Means big pay good money?
Best answer:
Answer by Loren is just plain Borin’
Well, to be an ADA dietitican, its 4 years for the BS in dietetics, then an extra 2 years for some other classes and the internship (if you do the coordinated program, you can squeeze that into your 4 years for the degree, but you will be taking about 12 classes each semester).
You can practice dietetics after that.
Or you can receive a masters in deitetics (2 more years after your B.S) . Or you can do a Ph.D in dietetics (unlimited number of years after your masters, just however long it takes you to write your dissertation)
But you only need a B.S plus the extra 2 years to practice with the American Dietetics Association. It pays pretty good money, maybe $ 50,000 starting (not sure exact pay).
